KVIE Video Interview with Jill (3 min.)

Jill H. Estroff’s love of art made her role as Marketing Director at the Crocker Art Museum from 1986 to 1993 a dream job. Inspired, she took art classes with SCC art professors Chris Daubert and Fred Dalkey in the early 1990s, and renewed her dedication to painting in 2014.

Sacramento Bee art critic Victoria Dalkey wrote in April 13, 2018 Ticket , "The unrestrained color and primal forms of Jill Estroff’s acrylic painting, “Baldwin Beach, Tahoe,” create an emotive vision of a familiar landscape."  In 2016, Dalkey wrote, "Jill Estroff’s photo-based paintings strive, in her words, “to capture the essence of things or the feeling of a place.”
